Volunteering for your Fire Brigade is rewarding

As a volunteer organisation, the Baxter Fire Brigade relies upon people of Baxter  to commit their time to help their own community. And it’s not all about jumping on big red trucks! Our community needs people that can assist with the many facets of community engagement which may involve contacting businesses to check contact numbers and site details, or organising the displays at fetes and community functions, or checking gate and premises keys, or checking alarm numbers, or raising much needed funds. Of course, the Baxter Fire Brigade can always use additional volunteers that are prepared to respond to emergencies, especially during the day.

Fundraising is a high priority for Baxter and will be for some time.
Our community needs  land for a new fire station and a new pumper. The Brigade would like to be able to conduct an annual trivia night, along with various other fundraising events, however due to limited members in the Brigade there is only so much we can do at any given time. We need volunteers to do this work.

                        Make a donation.

If you would like to make a donation this would be greatly appreciated by the members of the brigade. Any donation over $2 is tax deductible. Donations can be sent to: P.O. Box 103 Baxter 3911.

                        Buy wine from Gateway Cellars.
The brigade currently has a promotion running with Gateway Cellars. This bottleshop is located on the corner of Frankston Flinders Road and Moorooduc Highway (next to subway). Gateway Cellars will donate $1 from every 'Wine of the Month' bottle sold to the Baxter Fire Brigade, which we will put towards upgrading operational equipment.
