What is the best thing about being in Baxter Fire Brigade?
As a recent recruit, I have learnt so many new skills, built new friendships but most  importantly, really enjoy the teamwork atmosphere...especially when we are attending an emergency situation.

                        Why did you join CFA?

I have always wanted to volunteer into the community for something, just wasn’t sure what. I watched the fires of 2009 and the amazing job the CFA did and wanted to be a part of it.

What’s your favorite part of volunteering?
The favorite part is the sense of accomplishment and the feeling you get whether it is a response to assist someone or something, or just inputting skills I have into the brigade in a non-operation way.
