The Brigade were responded to a fire in a backyard in the residential area of Baxter just after 8.00PM. Upon arrival a large glow with emebers was seen to be coming from the rear yard of a property over the road from the address we were paged to. A neighbour approached us offering further information.  The occupant of the house was unaware that it was illegal to burn off in a residential area and extinguished the fire by coveing it with dirt.
